Position Summary:

Under the direct guidance of the Customer Service Supervisor, this role is responsible for executing daily operations, which include managing EDI error logs, processing deliveries, generating repack purchase orders, and addressing customer inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute tasks as directed by the Customer Service Supervisor.
  • Manage incoming calls regarding order modifications, driver shortages, delayed deliveries, inquiries about bun quantities, delivery timings, quality assurance issues, and various other requests.
  • EDI Data Validation – tasked with clearing error logs in BD87.
  • Post all deliveries from the bakery to the Inventory Control (IC) on a daily basis, including requesting missing EDI documents and resolving discrepancies affecting inventory.
  • Post all deliveries shipping from the IC to customers, including requesting missing EDI documents and resolving discrepancies affecting inventory.
  • Create subcontracting purchase orders on a daily basis.
  • Receive deliveries for repack supplies and address discrepancies impacting inventory.
  • Input Product Identification (PID) for items found to be out of specification or with quality concerns.
  • Generate retail orders and prepare bake sheets for production and TCI.
  • Undertake additional duties and special projects as assigned by the Customer Service Supervisor.
  • May perform other responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with SAP and MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in using computer terminals and related software, ten-key calculators, facsimiles, and copiers.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow both written and verbal instructions.
  • Collaborative work ethic with the ability to work effectively with others.

Compensation: $25.00 per hour

The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements outlined in this job description. Additional compensation may be considered for candidates who exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
