Key Responsibilities:


Act as a vital support resource to the government Program Manager (PM), ensuring comprehensive technical knowledge of the assigned teams and initiatives.

Offer expert technical guidance and strategic recommendations concerning the integration of National Systems-based capabilities.

Assist the PM/COTR in various program management activities, including strategic planning, cost analysis, schedule oversight, performance monitoring, program synchronization, and generating responses to requests for information.

Facilitate Agile-based program management and the application of a Model-Based Systems Engineering approach.

Lead Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings and oversee process boards, which include Engineering Review Boards (ERBs), Change Control Boards (CCBs), System Requirements Reviews (SRRs), Preliminary Design Reviews (PDRs), Critical Design Reviews (CDRs), and Program Management Reviews (PMRs).

Support the PM in multiple domains such as systems, mission, and enterprise engineering; program management; acquisition support; analytical support; technical analysis; user requirement management and development; architecture; and customer outreach.

Serve as the technical authority in the designated area.

Provide both administrative and technical assistance to the Government leadership team, ensuring effective internal coordination, collaboration with external mission partners, and support for other DoD/IC customers.


Required Qualifications:
Possession of an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a Counter-Intelligence Polygraph.
A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
Experience in project management and acquisition, particularly within Government acquisition in DoD or IC.
Familiarity with project management practices, including monitoring developer costs, schedules, and performance metrics, as well as program office processes and documentation.
Ability to foster commonality within the enterprise by defining, acquiring, and integrating multi-INT, multi-sensor, and multi-nodal processing capabilities.
Proficient problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment, with daily customer interaction.
Track and respond to office tasking, prepare and present program briefings, and maintain project schedules and calendars.

Junior-Level:
A Bachelor's degree is required.
0 - 5 years of relevant experience.
Background or knowledge in systems engineering is preferred.

Mid-Level:
A Bachelor's degree is required.

  • 10 years of relevant experience.
Background or knowledge in National space and ground systems is preferred.

Senior-Level:
A Bachelor's degree is required.
10+ years of relevant experience.
Background or knowledge in National space and ground systems is preferred.

Desired Qualifications:
A Master's Degree is preferred.
Familiarity with the NRO's and DoD's national and tactical space architectures.
Understanding of various contracting types, including competition, sole source, IDIQ/TOs, Other Transactions, and Broad Agency Announcements.
Knowledge of Electro-optical, RADAR, SIGINT, Communications, Mission Management, and Mission processing systems supporting a space and ground architecture.
Working knowledge of SAFe Agile or similar agile methodologies, along with tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
Certification in one or more of the following: INCOSE (or DAWIA equivalent), OMG Systems Modeler, Agile, Project Management, MBSE.

Comprehension of how system requirements, design, analysis, verification, and validation activities are facilitated by MBSE throughout the engineering lifecycle.

Willingness to travel as needed.
