As a Senior Systems Engineering Program Manager, your role will encompass the following responsibilities:


This position is intended for an experienced Systems Engineer or RF Lab Manager with substantial relevant expertise, responsible for overseeing engineering resources across diverse programs and clients.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in estimating project timelines and resource allocation. Additionally, they will possess the capability to swiftly and independently analyze and resolve intricate technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as Program Manager for multiple initiatives.
- Coordinate the use and maintenance of laboratory facilities and resources.
- Manage human resource utilization associated with programs operating within the lab.
- Oversee information security tasks related to lab systems.
- Ensure proper management of equipment within the lab.
- Support business development initiatives.
- Collaborate with corporate IT to facilitate lab activities.

Maintain effective communication with clients regarding lab operations; keep the Director of Engineering Solutions informed about current project statuses and future opportunities.


Work alongside facilities support personnel to ensure optimal allocation and maintenance of lab spaces; provide insights for corporate decisions related to lab space; ensure corporate support teams are aware of any space-related concerns.


Respond to requests from other Program Managers for engineering personnel assistance on various technical projects; manage the matrix structure of personnel assigned to the lab across multiple programs; maintain documentation regarding personnel commitments; ensure lab staff are engaged appropriately without overcommitment; keep the Director of Engineering informed about resource utilization and potential hiring needs; collaborate with the Director of Engineering to identify staffing requirements and assist in candidate screening and interviews.


Work with the Director of Security and the Security team to ensure that information security tasks progress according to schedule and meet client deadlines; ensure that security personnel collaborate effectively to achieve information security objectives.


Coordinate with the property management team to ensure all equipment in lab spaces is accurately recorded and barcoded; oversee inventory activities to ensure they are completed on schedule; maintain an organized lab environment with equipment and supplies stored systematically.


Collaborate with personnel involved in proposals or business development to ensure that lab space and personnel constraints are considered; maintain updated briefings that accurately reflect the capabilities of our facility; participate in briefings regarding our operational capabilities.


Engage with the Director of IT to ensure support for all corporate IT resources, including timely maintenance, security updates, and necessary servicing.

Work with the Director of Engineering on annual budget requests for equipment maintenance, calibration, replacements, and new acquisitions, ensuring justification linked to program support and financial implications.
