SAIC is seeking a highly skilled SETA Systems Engineer to join our team in Chantilly, VA. As a key member of our LANDMARK AOS program, you will provide specialized engineering expertise to support system-level architecture analysis for advanced ground innovative software services.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Interact with Government project management and functional managers to define scope of work for projects, and develop and update detailed schedules.
- Schedule Management: Use Microsoft Project to organize, implement and maintain multiple schedules for the various program technical branches.
- Integration: Integrate developer schedules to generate and maintain an accurate Organization-level master schedule.
- Performance Analysis: Evaluate project schedule progress and performance, identify any variances, and highlight developing problem areas.
- Constraint Analysis: Analyze critical path and constraints to determine effect of changes to schedule and recommend work-around.
- Configuration Management: Use Government CM tools to store, track, and manage configuration items.
- Impact Analysis: Coordinate project level impact analyses of proposed engineering changes.
- Agile Process Evolution: Support agile process evolution across Government teams, development contractors, user engagement teams, and stakeholders.
- Requirements Development: Derive enterprise, system, functional, performance, and interface level requirements and work with the team to develop the corresponding documentation.
- Education and Experience: Bachelors and two (2) years or more experience; Masters and 0 years related experience. Relevant experience to be substituted in lieu of degree.
- Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
- Technical Skills: Demonstrated experience in managing technical, cost and schedule performance of software development programs. Experience/Knowledge with the IC acquisition cycle, requirements processes, budgetary practices, and acquisition documentation.
- Teamwork: Demonstrated capability and success working in team environments.
- Communication: Strong oral and written communications ability on significant technical matters often requiring coordination within a high-tempo environment.
- Technical Tools: Good working knowledge of MS Office applications and Atlassian collaboration tools.
