Position Overview:
As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks within a medical office environment.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage incoming calls and respond to inquiries.
2. Welcome patients upon arrival and assist with the check-in process.
3. Schedule and confirm patient appointments efficiently.
4. Input and maintain accurate patient demographics and information.
5. Verify insurance coverage, complete necessary documentation, and collect co-payments.
6. Handle cash transactions and maintain financial records.
7. Ensure the electronic medical records (EMR) system is up-to-date and manage pre-certifications, authorizations, and referrals, along with the release of medical records.

Qualifications:
Required:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent experience.

Preferred:
1. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
2. Customer-focused mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
4. Previous administrative experience in a medical practice is highly desirable.
5. Familiarity with computerized scheduling and EMR systems is a plus.
