Amazon Ads PR Manager

Amazon is seeking an experienced public relations professional to lead executive communications for Amazon Ads.
As a PR Manager for Amazon Ads, you will provide communications counsel to business leaders and partner with stakeholders to craft and implement holistic executive communications programs.
Responsibilities include developing and executing owned and earned communications strategies, ongoing media relations, collaborating with stakeholders, and working with international teams to extend and localize programs.
Key Responsibilities- Spearhead owned and earned communications strategies and messaging for select Amazon Ads executives.
- Manage executive speaking and media engagement.
- Provide strategic PR counsel and support to business leaders.
- Keep current on industry trends, issues, and news and proactively provide related counsel.
- Build and maintain relevant media relationships.
- Successfully manage complex, fast-moving and unexpected communications challenges.
- 7+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5+ years advertising industry experience.
- Experience proactively managing a current network of media contacts.
- 3-5 years of executive communications experience.
- Experience writing for a range of audiences and formats, including social, copy-writing and speech writing.
- Experience working internationally, including with media across multiple regions.

Compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $188,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
