PR Manager, Devices

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled PR Manager to join the Alexa team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing product launches, storytelling initiatives, and momentum PR programs.
You will have significant experience planning and executing consumer campaigns that reach lifestyle media and influencers, developing impactful launch strategies for products or services, and building effective working relationships with media.
Key Responsibilities:- Define and execute communications programs geared towards lifestyle and technology media
- Work cross-functionally to plan and execute cross-channel communications plans
- Regularly interact with business and marketing teams to plan for launches and generate news
- Lead storytelling initiatives across earned and owned channels
- 7+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field
- High levels of creativity
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Knowledge of the consumer technology landscape
- Demonstrated ability to develop proactive PR campaigns
- Strong relationships with top-tier media and influencers

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $188,500/year in our highest geographic market.
Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
