Job Title: PR Manager, Business

Amazon is seeking an experienced communications professional to drive product and customer PR for its low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite network, Project Kuiper.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to shape the communications program for one of Amazon's most ambitious new initiatives, and to have a positive, lasting impact on customers and communities around the world.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end communications for consumer and enterprise product offerings, including announcements, launches, and product reviews.
  • Drive joint milestones and storytelling with customers and partners across all verticals.
  • Build awareness of Kuiper among end customers in priority regions.
  • Demonstrate industry and thought leadership in key verticals.
  • Manage engagement with key media, analysts, and influencers.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field.
  • Experience with end-to-end product communications (announcements, launches, reviews, etc.).
  • Experience with consumer and/or enterprise technology.
  • Familiarity with telecommunications, space and/or satellite industry.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $188,500/year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
