Your Role as the Senior Inventory Analyst

In this position, you will be encouraged to express your unique perspectives and ideas to foster ongoing enhancements in the supply chain, and you will have the authority to implement those concepts effectively.

Location: Corporate Offices

Work Arrangements: Hybrid, with 30% in-office expectations

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop daily reports that outline all inventory challenges across various sites, clearly outlining subsequent actions for Customer Logistics.
  • Collaborate with Integrated Business Planning teams to address inventory challenges.
  • Assist in proactive root cause investigations.
  • Respond to specific customer inquiries.
  • Act as the primary contact for all inquiries regarding inventory issues related to customer shipments.
  • Drive process enhancements to ensure all performance metrics are met and communicate effectively when these standards are not achieved.
  • Examine fill rate statistics and the precision of cut code reporting.
  • Identify significant issues affecting service metrics, whether above or below target.
  • Proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring that internal Customer Logistics teams manage shortages effectively.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of the IMI system and Spotfire, particularly concerning Available to Promise (ATP) functionality and fill rate reporting.
  • Facilitate allocation requirements related to pricing strategies or inventory supply limitations.
  • Work alongside Integrated Business Planning to lead discussions with cross-functional teams, managing the scope of allocations and providing regular updates and next steps.
  • Prepare daily allocation reports and distribute them while assisting with day-to-day inquiries from internal teams, such as Sales, Commercialization, and Customer Logistics.
  • Provide detailed cut reporting and analyze customer demand trends.
  • Ensure that all allocation cuts are executed by the Customer Logistics team.
  • Monitor and manage Marketing initiatives related to new product launches, item transitions, discontinued products, and suffix code management.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's Degree is required (preferably in Business or Supply Chain)
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in supply chain management
  • Experience in data analysis, problem-solving, and customer service.
  • Ability to manage daily operations alongside multiple projects.
  • Must demonstrate initiative, strong leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate across functions.
  • Proven capability to work in a dynamic team environment and adapt to changing workloads.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with effective listening abilities.
  • Ability to organize information and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in time-sensitive situations.
Additional skills and experience that would enhance success in this role:
  • Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods
  • Familiarity with Spotfire for data analysis, with a desire to become a Spotfire Analyst for dashboard creation and maintenance
  • Knowledge of JMS Operations, Logistics, and reporting systems is advantageous
  • Project Management experience
  • Experience with IMI, SAP, or similar software
