POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee all subcontractors and suppliers for various projects while providing direction to the Superintendent. The Project Manager will ensure that all contracted work aligns with the company’s standards, including contract documents, budget management, scheduling, safety protocols, quality assurance, and client satisfaction.

This role requires on-site presence.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Overseeing projects while effectively communicating and negotiating with stakeholders including owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Engaging in the design development process to optimize construction methods, reducing both time and costs.
  • Establishing and managing project timelines and budgets, ensuring successful project delivery.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and minimizing risks on job sites.
  • Managing the submittal process, negotiating change orders, and ensuring contract adherence.
  • Building strong relationships to foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Providing cost estimates for changes in project scope.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the HVAC sector.
  • Experience with design-build projects and job site management is preferred.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents such as blueprints and specifications.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies and local permitting processes.
  • Experience managing subcontractors and vendors effectively.
  • Proficient in negotiating and tracking change orders.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience directing Superintendents to ensure project scope is met accurately.
  • Ability to adhere to tight deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Excel and project management software.
  • Must be able to pass drug screening as part of our drug-free workplace policy.
