We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer (PE) with a minimum of 1 year of experience to support the Project Managers (PM) in overseeing subcontractors and suppliers for various projects. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist Project Managers in project execution while effectively communicating with stakeholders including owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Engage in the design development process to optimize construction methods for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Establish and monitor project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations on all job sites to mitigate risks.
  • Oversee the submittal process, manage change orders, and ensure contract adherence.
  • Foster strong relationships to create a collaborative team atmosphere.
  • Provide cost estimates for changes in project scope.

  • A degree in mechanical engineering or construction management is preferred.
  • Experience in design-build and job site management is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents, including blueprints and specifications.
  • Familiarity with construction practices is preferred but not essential.
  • Capability to manage subcontractors and vendors effectively.
  • Proficient in negotiating and tracking change orders.
  • Able to handle multiple projects and meet critical deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Project Management software.
