Abilities and Scope of Responsibilities (Including but not limited to the following)

Drilling Operations:

  • AFE and Drilling Prognosis preparation
  • Location preparation and landowner relations
  • Drilling operations cost control
  • Vendor and Equipment selection
  • Appropriate rigs and contractors
  • Vertical and Horizontal well planning
  • Working with directional well planner to achieve geological goals
  • Current Drilling Supervision Well Control Certification
  • Well control and counter measures design
  • Mud, Drilling Tools and Bit selection
  • Wellhead and Casing Program
  • Cementing Program including cement calculations
  • Logging Operations (Mud Logging, Wireline, Pipe Conveyed)
  • Meet goal of well design to aid in completion and production methods for successfully recovering maximum reservoir potential.
  • Working understanding of Land, Legal and Regulatory requirements to work effectively with company Land Department.
  • Non-Op relations, fulfill JOA requirements
  • Company and Contract personnel decisions and time management
  • Invoice approval and coding in a timely manner to aid accounting and AFE monitoring

Completion Operations:

  • AFE and Procedure preparation
  • Understanding of JOA and Regulatory requirements
  • Well Control and Safety protocol for High Pressure Deep Gas
  • Current Completion Supervision Well Control Certification
  • Proficient at Log interpretation and correlation Open Hole to Cased Hole
  • Selection of Perforating method, gun type, size and performance
  • Broad knowledge of down hole completion tools, uses and limitations
  • Adept at formation damage mitigation
  • Proficient at Workover Rig type selection WO, Slickline, Braided Line, CT
  • Knowledge of Profiles and Profile Tools uses and running procedures
  • Coil Tubing Operations experience
  • Capable of all types of Break Down and Stimulation Operations, Frac Designs including Energized Fluids
  • Comprehension of all Wellhead Types and ability to identify internal workings, sizes and pressure ratings
  • Ability to Supervise fishing and recovery operations of pumps, tools, pipe and wireline at depths to 21,000ft
  • Appropriate Tubing Design, size, weight, connection and grade
  • Planning and implementation of Cementing Operations, Squeeze, Lift, KO and Casing Repair
  • Plugging Operations, Planning and Procedures Communication with appropriate Regulatory Agency
  • Company and Contract personnel decisions and time management
  • Invoice approval and coding in a timely manner to aid accounting and AFE monitoring
  • Well Control, Safety and Environmental Impact mitigation
  • Well Servicing Operations Supervision, Service Rig, Swab Rig, Braided Line
  • Maintain Environmental Standards, Fulfill Regulatory Standards and Requirements of the OCC, BLM, BIA and WOGCC, Answer and Respond to Regulatory Agency Concerns
  • Monitor appropriate use of company owned assets, vehicles, tools etc.
