Job Summary:
The Cleaning Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and organization of hotel rooms, public areas, and linen storage. Key responsibilities include:

1. Conducting inspections to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness.
2. Scheduling staff and coordinating preventive maintenance and deep cleaning activities.
3. Monitoring inventory levels and placing orders as necessary.
4. Managing all financial aspects related to the housekeeping department.
5. Supporting hotel staff to enhance guest satisfaction.
6. Providing instructional opportunities in housekeeping for students in Hotel and Tourism Management.

Daily interactions will occur with faculty, staff, students, hotel guests, alumni, and donors.

Physical Requirements:
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
High School diploma or GED
One year of relevant experience.

Skills required include:
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with diverse groups in a professional manner.
- Ability to handle and resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (preferably Word and Excel).
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:
One year of experience in a supervisory housekeeping role.
