Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced IT professional to support our classified programs located in the Valley Forge, PA, US office. As a Classified Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for providing technical service delivery and Windows system administration to complex classified environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, secure, harden, remediate, test, upgrade, and decommission data center equipment, network switches, virtual servers, physical servers, client workstations, and network-attached storage equipment.
  • Provide application support to program engineers to ensure a successful synergy between program deliverables and the underlying IT infrastructure.
  • Ensure the ongoing operations, maintenance, and continuous improvement of multiple classified IT program environments.
  • Manage, control, and ensure compliance with the Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and the Risk Management Framework (RMF) for Space IT systems.

Requirements:

  • Active DOD Top Secret clearance with the ability to maintain that clearance level throughout the position lifecycle.
  • Current DoD M IAT Level II or III certification (i.e. CompTIA Security+, CISSP, etc.) with the ability to maintain that certification throughout the position lifecycle.
  • U.S. Citizenship is a requirement to work at this facility (No dual citizenship).
  • Ability to move, rack, stack, and install physical equipment by lifting up to 50 lbs. independently.

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelors of Science degree from an accredited University.
  • Experience with Windows Server user account management, administration, and access controls.
  • Systems Administration experience supporting United States Government classified environments.
  • Experience in applying DISA STIGs and resolving security vulnerabilities.
  • Experience administering Microsoft's Windows Server (i.e. 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019, or 2022) operating system functions, security policies, and technical security safeguards.
  • Experience with Scripting and Automation (i.e., Ansible, Perl, Bash, Shell Scripting, PowerShell, etc.).
  • Fundamental understanding of the OSI model.
  • Fundamental understanding of authentication mechanisms such as Kerberos, LDAP, and NTLM and use of necessary tools to troubleshoot them.
  • Knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, SMTP, NFS, FTP, Telnet, and SSH.
  • VMware experience (VSphere vCenter, ESXi, KVM).
  • Demonstrated experience with Cisco switching technology.
  • Experience with network-attached storage or storage area networks.
  • Red Hat Certified System Administrator certification equivalent or higher.
  • VMware Certified Professional certification.
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA).

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Top Secret

Other Important Information:

This is a non-telecommuting position that requires you to be on-site and includes some off-shift work and occasional weekend activities. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
