Position Summary

We are currently seeking a Security Operations Center Dispatcher. This role is crucial as it ensures the smooth and efficient flow of information between the Security Operations Center (SOC) and Corporate Security Management. The SOC operates around the clock, delivering a thorough monitoring strategy that enhances visibility across the organization. It utilizes intelligence from multiple systems and databases to analyze and correlate data, enabling the Security Operations Team to address prioritized security incidents effectively.

Important Clearance Requirement:

Applicants must possess an active secret clearance, which indicates eligibility for access to classified information. This clearance is vital for maintaining national security and is active as long as the individual holds a position requiring such access.

***Candidates must hold an ACTIVE, Top Secret (TS) clearance with an investigation date within the last 3 years for consideration.***

Application Requirements:

  • Availability for weekend shifts is necessary.

Available Shifts: Saturday to Wednesday, Friday to Tuesday

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor alarms and CCTV systems.
  • Conduct camera surveys.
  • Manage phone communications using an IP-based system.
  • Perform radio dispatch duties utilizing multi-channel communications.
  • Log radio communications and calls.
  • Issue and collect incident reports.
  • Support operations by routing call information to appropriate units.
  • Ensure prompt and effective responses to incidents and alarms.
  • Receive and respond to emergency and non-emergency calls from various stakeholders.
  • Process and evaluate information from multiple sources to ensure appropriate dispatch procedures.
  • Coordinate with SOC staff to provide necessary documentation for uniformed guard activities.
Qualifications:
  • Resume submission is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • For driving positions, a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record is necessary.
  • Must possess an active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Licensing requirements may vary based on state and local laws.
  • Work experience should demonstrate:
    • Analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to prepare reports.
    • Prioritization of workload based on urgency.
    • Competency with advanced computer systems.
    • Effective communication with IT and Security Systems professionals.
    • Ability to operate radio and telephone equipment.
    • Adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
