This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work as a Linux Systems Administrator for Lockheed Martin, a leading technology innovation company. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support for our IT systems, ensuring their smooth operation and security.
Key Responsibilities- Work in an agile scrum environment to provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various IT systems.
- Manage IT systems, including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices.
- Patch and harden Linux RedHat OS and work with Security personnel to protect against Cyber Threats.
- This assignment will be an expat assignment for a duration of 6-12 months and require a TS/SCI to start.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college with 7 years of professional experience, 5 years of professional experience with a Master's degree, or equivalent experience/combined education.
- Advanced professional experience with Linux system administration.
- Experience in software practices and configuration management.
- Scripting experience.
- RedHat OS patching/hardening experience.
- RedHat OpenShift.
- AWX.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a rapid-paced, team environment.
- Agile development experience.
- Experience using C/C++ or another object-oriented development language.
- Security+ Cert.
- Linux Certifications.
- Any experience with cloud migrations working with the latest CI/CD tools and technology would be a plus.
- 9 years of System Administration Experience.
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
