Director of Sales Development

We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to lead our sales development program and shape the next generation of sales leaders at The Planet Group.

About the Role:

As the Director of Sales Development, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive training program that prepares entry-level Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to advance into Business Development Manager roles within six months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a robust training program that covers all aspects of the sales cycle, including prospecting, qualifying leads, pitching, negotiation, and closing deals.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to SDRs, helping them to develop their skills, build confidence, and achieve their career goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of SDRs, using key metrics to identify areas for improvement and success.
  • Collaborate with the sales leadership team to align training programs with overall company goals and sales strategies.
  • Onboard new SDRs, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary to succeed.

Requirements:

Sales Expertise: Proven track record of success in staffing sales, with deep knowledge of the sales process and techniques.

Leadership: Ability to lead and inspire a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Results-Driven: Strong analytical skills with the ability to track performance metrics and drive results.
