Position Summary:

Brand Manager - Spirits

Role Summary:

Manage the brand marketing for a specific category, collaborating closely with supplier partners to ensure that our market approach and branding strategies drive sales growth.

Supplier Relationship Management

  • Engage regularly with suppliers to:
  • Create internal sales resources that effectively showcase the products.
  • Develop marketing initiatives that optimally position our offerings in the marketplace.
  • Maintain and update the pricing database.
  • Design incentive programs to motivate sales.
  • Facilitate supplier visits to ensure productive market engagements.
  • Collaborate with Sales Directors to identify the most impactful territory assignments for supplier visits.
  • Ensure timely distribution of samples to representatives.
  • Provide necessary POS materials, sell sheets, and pricing information.
  • Assist in organizing and executing consumer engagement events.
  • Send pre-event communications with schedules and relevant details.

Inventory and Pricing Oversight

  • Continuously track brand inventory in coordination with the forecasting team through regular meetings and daily updates.
  • Address customer inquiries to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Supervise allocation programs for specialty items.

Collaboration Across Departments

  • Work directly with Sales Directors to formulate effective marketing and sales strategies aimed at maximizing distribution of wine and spirits within a defined or expanding customer base.
  • Communicate all incentives, programs, and new product launches to the sales team through meetings and internal communications.
  • Analyze sales reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to identify growth opportunities, capture market share, recognize trends, monitor sales performance, and provide insights to Sales Directors.
  • Develop and implement brand-building initiatives on an annual, quarterly, and monthly basis.
  • Conduct monthly internal planning sessions.
  • Organize annual business planning meetings with suppliers.
  • Consolidate insights and prepare strategic plans for the upcoming year.
  • Maintain the Eagle Rock Portfolio Book.
  • Oversee accounts receivable for assigned suppliers.

Portfolio Analysis

  • Assess current market conditions to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
  • Evaluate new product offerings.
  • Manage the onboarding process for new suppliers.
  • Develop innovative marketing programs.
  • Engage with suppliers on a weekly basis.
  • Process sample requests efficiently.
  • Schedule in-store tasting events.

Market Engagement

  • Achieve the required number of market days each month.
  • Ensure consistent adherence to brand standards in marketing efforts.
  • Coordinate and execute special events effectively.
  • Develop creative strategies to enhance product visibility following new brand placements.
