Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Construction Project Coordinator to join our team. This role will be pivotal in supporting our operations. The selected candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Oversee labor management on assigned projects, ensuring proper setup and ongoing maintenance.
  • Prepare Requests for Information (RFIs) and manage submittals.
  • Conduct quantitative takeoffs to validate estimates, procure materials, and assess change orders.
  • Develop and implement project schedules while coordinating with field supervisors and foremen.
  • Generate and manage punch lists along with job closeout documentation.
  • Assist in maintaining the Quality Control measures outlined in the QA/QC program.
Requirements

Basic Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in Commercial or Industrial construction.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
  • Strong understanding of specifications and drawings.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and engage with the technical aspects of the job.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to build relationships.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capacity to multitask effectively.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and initiative.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience with insulation and specialty services is a plus.
  • Local candidates are preferred.
  • OSHA Certification is advantageous.
