Qualifications:

A Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited institution is required, along with a minimum of five years of experience in industrial settings, particularly in the refinery, petrochemical, or related fields.

Licensing:

  • Possession of a valid Driver's License as mandated by state regulations.
  • A professional license is advantageous but not mandatory.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in project management principles.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and time management abilities.
  • Competent in various software applications, including Microsoft Office and project management tools.
  • Creative problem-solving capabilities.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to navigate industrial sites and construction areas.
  • Capacity to wear protective gear and work in varying temperatures.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and climbing.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple projects with budgets up to $10 million from inception to completion.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through project development phases.
  • Monitor project costs and schedules, identifying opportunities for value enhancement.
  • Implement effective execution and contracting strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate governance and safety standards.

Experience and Knowledge:

A minimum of a B.S. in Engineering or a related discipline is required, with a preference for candidates possessing over five years of project management experience in regulated environments.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders across various levels.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
  • Knowledge of scheduling and estimating software is preferred.
