Key Responsibilities and Performance Metrics
  • Financial Planning and Reporting: Assist in the preparation and formulation of annual budgets and forecasts within Xplor Technologies.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate and comprehensive budgets and forecasts that align with Xplor's strategic objectives.
  • Support the enhancement and execution of planning processes while ensuring compliance with Group policies.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial performance and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide insightful financial analysis and commentary on a monthly and ad hoc basis.
  • Drive the development and improvement of KPI metric reporting, focusing on automation for increased efficiency.
  • Manage the modeling and forecasting workbooks for the designated reporting segment.
Client/Customer (Internal):
  • Act as a finance business partner to key stakeholders and leadership on strategic financial matters, including performance analysis and business case development.
  • Work closely with financial controllership teams to ensure clarity and communication of financial data.
  • Analyze, reconcile, and compile monthly financials, including month-end results and variance analysis, to effectively communicate business trends and opportunities to Senior Management.
  • Conduct regular financial reviews with business partners to discuss financial performance and provide valuable insights to help achieve financial objectives.
Financial/Commercial:
  • Perform routine and ad hoc analyses to derive insights, identify opportunities and risks, and support informed decision-making.
  • Evaluate return on investment for significant investment decisions.
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Financial Planning & Analysis role within a global organization, preferably in the financial services, technology, or software sectors.
  • Proficient in advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with tools such as OneStream, Intacct, Power BI, NetSuite, and Alteryx is advantageous.
  • Strong financial modeling skills, from initial conception to delivery, with consideration for stakeholder needs.
  • Proven ability to identify efficiency opportunities and plan for implementation.
  • Experience with core accounting processes and general ledger interactions.
  • Demonstrated history of delivering high-quality financial analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Positive, progressive, and supportive attitude with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Adaptable and flexible, able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting.
