POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sales Associate plays a pivotal role in fostering a customer-centric sales environment, ensuring that our core values and guiding principles are integrated into every aspect of store operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales Performance: Achieve company sales targets by employing effective sales strategies and sharing product knowledge with customers; assist in merchandise selection or sourcing based on customer preferences.

Stay informed about ongoing promotions and maintain pricing and visual merchandising standards.
Uphold best practices in merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and other responsibilities as directed by management.
Participate in visual merchandising initiatives, including monthly store setups and maintenance of designated areas.

Customer Experience: Exemplify and advocate for the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles, ensuring a seamless omni-channel experience for customers.
Promptly address and resolve customer inquiries and concerns.

Facilitate a swift and efficient checkout process, remaining knowledgeable about payment policies, coupon usage, returns, exchanges, security protocols, and other operational procedures.

Encourage additional purchases at checkout, including gift card sales.
Enroll customers in loyalty programs.
Build and nurture a loyal customer base through personalized service and wardrobe consultations.
Maintain awareness of current product offerings and styles available both in-store and online.
Ensure consistent communication with clients through a customer relationship management system.

Operational Excellence: Support inventory replenishment efforts to ensure the store remains well-stocked and visually appealing.
Assist with locating fulfillment tasks.
Contribute to visual merchandising directives, including floor layouts, window displays, and signage as directed.
Help maintain store cleanliness and organization.

Team Collaboration and Development: Foster an inclusive and collaborative environment for problem-solving.
Actively seek opportunities for personal development and welcome constructive feedback.
Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed. This position may vary across different brands.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Previous retail or sales experience is preferred.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to adapt to technology utilized by the company.
Excellent organizational skills and capability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
Ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management.
Regular attendance is crucial for meeting company objectives. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Frequent walking and standing throughout the shift.
Occasional lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
Regular climbing may be required (34%-66% of the shift).
