POSITION OVERVIEW


The Project Operations Leader is tasked with overseeing all stages of the project life cycle, from initial proposal development through to execution and final delivery of a suite of products.

The primary goal is to steer initiatives aimed at establishing a successful production line for executive jets, enhancing product competitiveness and profitability while aligning with customer value-creation strategies.

This role will facilitate collaboration across a multifunctional team focused on shared program performance objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop comprehensive business plans, business cases, trade-off analyses, and program management strategies.
Lead projects designed to boost profitability, enhance product competitiveness, increase market share, and elevate customer satisfaction.
Analyze and manage Program Profit & Loss, spearheading initiatives to enhance profitability through cost reduction or revenue maintenance as planned.
Oversee the Production Plan at a strategic level (PIPO), taking into account financial, industrial, and customer-related factors.
Coordinate the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process at the program level.
Quote new product features, versions, and configurations.
Manage the Program portfolio (PMO) concerning product evolution, selecting, analyzing, and executing the most pertinent projects.
Administer the Program Budget (R&D, Capex, etc.)
Oversee projects related to products or processes across internal departments, suppliers, and customers.
Generate and track key performance indicators related to production, aircraft deliveries, product development, customer satisfaction, and financial outcomes.

Develop scenarios, propose alternatives, identify risks, and support the formulation of recovery plans for activities/projects/programs.
Analyze and approve Aircraft Orders/new configurations in accordance with customer contracts.

Facilitate meetings of the Configuration Control Board (CCB), integrating Engineering, Planning, and Procurement for optimal product modification definitions.

Coordinate the product Value Stream Map, integrating all areas, and propose enhancements related to lead time and inventory reduction.

Coordinate the aircraft delivery plan, integrating various departments, mitigating risks, and establishing plans to meet contractual deadlines.

Engage in relevant events with customers and suppliers.
Develop area guidelines, procedures, and Action Plans.
Represent the program management office in discussions with business and financial areas regarding cost definitions and budget oversight.
Represent the program during audits.
Exhibit situational leadership within the program management office.
Evaluate and simulate complex scenarios within the Business Unit's scope.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Education:


A Bachelor's degree in a related field is typically required, along with a Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification.

Individuals with a Master's degree in a related field and 3-4 years of relevant experience in Project/Program Management may also be considered.


Experience:


Typically, 8-10 years of experience in Project/Program Management, with at least three years in a Project/Program Manager role overseeing high-priority projects/programs.

Experience in the Executive Aviation Market is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Comprehensive understanding of business case analysis, KPIs, dashboard reporting, and revenue/cost/expense management.
Familiarity with Project/Portfolio/Program Management principles (PMP knowledge).
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating comfort with deadlines and decision-making.
Strong analytical skills and a systemic perspective.
Capability to prioritize and execute tasks promptly in a sensitive environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse audiences.
A collaborative mindset.
