Job Overview:

The Program Manager position at SES Government Solutions involves overseeing critical projects within the Electro Optical Infrared Systems (EOIS) sector. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of technical programs aimed at enhancing military capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to steer development initiatives and projects.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of defined technical programs while managing project milestones and objectives.
  • Lead project teams, coordinating efforts from inception through to completion.
  • Facilitate communication between internal and external stakeholders regarding contract execution.
  • Participate in bid and proposal processes, ensuring compliance with customer requirements.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Represent management in program reviews and negotiations, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Monitor and mitigate risks throughout the program lifecycle, maintaining alignment with budget and schedule objectives.
  • Prepare and present program status reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging principles such as Lean Six Sigma.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in program management.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, or Business, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and a solid understanding of program management tools.
  • Experience with earned value management and metrics for program assessment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Program Management certification (e.g., PMP or DAU) is preferred.

This role requires U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DOD security clearance.
