Bowman Consulting Group, Ltd. is seeking a Senior Civil Engineering Project Leader to enhance our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of various civil engineering projects while fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Provide overarching guidance from senior management regarding key objectives and critical issues. Oversee project teams to ensure effective execution and maintain high-quality standards in deliverables.
- Operational Excellence: Engage in marketing initiatives to promote the firm’s capabilities, establish new client relationships, and strengthen existing partnerships. Collaborate with internal departments to fulfill project requirements efficiently.
- Project Management: Lead the development of complex projects, including defining project scopes, preparing cost estimates, and managing budgets. Ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to financial constraints.
- Client Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing inquiries related to project specifications, completion timelines, and billing processes. Assist in securing repeat business and identifying new opportunities.
- Technical Oversight: Supervise project personnel to ensure adherence to professional standards. Provide technical assistance in resolving design challenges and coordinating design aspects across teams.

- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
- Effective communication skills across all organizational levels and with external partners.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to project management.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional registration in the relevant discipline is highly preferred.
- A minimum of eight years of civil engineering experience, including at least three years in project management.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.
Work Environment:
- Primarily an indoor office setting with occasional outdoor site visits.
- Mobility around the office and job sites is required, including the use of personal protective equipment as necessary.
