Key Responsibilities
As a Lead Project Coordinator, you will manage projects of varying sizes and complexities, ensuring effective communication across multiple stakeholders, including clients, representatives, designers, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal business operations. Your role will involve defining the project's scope, schedule, and budget while fostering stakeholder partnerships to maximize value.


Core Duties
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading enterprise-wide strategic initiatives across diverse programs, including launching new facilities, products, and services.
  • Being the single accountable party for defining, planning, and delivering strategic initiatives with a focus on high-quality outcomes and measurable business benefits.
  • Managing project scope rigorously to ensure commitments are met within agreed timelines, costs, and quality standards.
  • Validating financial forecasts and reconciling resources and expenditures throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Developing comprehensive communication plans to facilitate effective execution of responsibilities.
  • Conducting ongoing risk management to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks to the projects and the organization.


Project Management
You will serve as a subject matter expert, regularly briefing key stakeholders on various aspects of assigned initiatives. This includes:

  • Chairs weekly core team meetings and monthly operational committee meetings to review project progress.
  • Defining and tracking project milestones while maintaining an integrated delivery plan.
  • Preparing project charters, integrated project plans, resource plans, and contingency plans.
  • Publishing periodic project status reports and proposing recommendations for process improvements.


Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 10+ years of project management experience, particularly in construction site management.
  • Experience in government contracting environments and familiarity with FAR regulations.
  • OSHA 30-hour certification and relevant project management certifications (PMP preferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.


Working Conditions
This position typically operates within an office environment, with occasional requirements for outdoor site visits. The role may involve physical activities, including traversing various terrains and working in diverse weather conditions.
