Key Responsibilities:

As a vital member of the global accounting team, you will be involved in various functions, including financial closing, compensation accounting, lease accounting, fixed assets management, and audit processes. This role will report directly to the Accounting Manager.

Essential Functions:
  • Collaborate with compliance teams to establish and maintain effective controls.
  • Assist in monthly closing, consolidation, and account reconciliation.
  • Participate in monthly reporting and analytical processes.
  • Engage in annual external and statutory audit activities.
  • Ensure adherence to GAAP standards, including the implementation of new regulations.
  • Act as a business partner for functional inquiries.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to accounting processes to align with company objectives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of general accounting principles, including leases, fixed assets, and payroll.
  • Strong understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and controls.
  • Proficient in GAAP standards, both domestic and international.
  • Ability to manage change effectively.
  • Critical thinking and intellectual curiosity.
  • Capacity to identify improvement opportunities and drive results.
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Experience with external audit processes.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Familiarity with external financial statement preparation is preferred but not required.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA certification is a plus.
  • A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in public accounting.
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations is preferred.
  • Skills in process improvement and project management are advantageous.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to communicate effectively and exchange ideas verbally.
  • Capacity to receive detailed information through verbal communication.
  • Ability to interpret written communication accurately.
FLSA Status: Exempt
