Your main responsibility will be to assist with the daily administrative tasks related to compliance, employee benefits, payroll, and onboarding processes while our HR Operations Manager is unavailable.
The ideal candidate is someone who quickly adapts to new challenges, excels in a fast-paced environment, pays close attention to detail, and values teamwork.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate new employee orientation and onboarding processes, including verification of employment eligibility.
- Ensure accuracy in all employee benefit enrollments and maintain up-to-date personal information in our HR system.
- Manage incoming communications from regulatory agencies to ensure compliance.
- Conduct new hire orientations and exit interviews to gather valuable feedback.
- Document and oversee all payroll adjustments and updates.
- Assist in the organization and execution of performance reviews.
- Support the implementation of internal processes and programs, enhancing existing employee initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with mandatory training requirements, such as workplace safety and harassment prevention.
- Collaborate with the HR team and other departments to drive initiatives that align with business objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in human resources.
- At least 2 years of experience in a technology startup environment.
- Experience with HRIS implementation and management.
- Strong understanding of U.S. employment laws.
- Proficient in Mac, G-Suite, and Slack.
- Demonstrated project management skills with strong analytical capabilities.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic setting while keeping stakeholders informed.
- Experience in employee onboarding and separation processes.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
