Position: Senior Electrical Engineering Inspector

We are seeking a qualified Senior Electrical Engineering Inspector to join a prominent solutions provider in the defense and critical infrastructure sectors. This role involves supervising a team of inspectors and ensuring compliance with industry standards across various electrical projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of up to five Electrical Engineering inspectors across diverse projects, including transmission and distribution systems.
  • Oversee multiple projects at different phases, from design to construction and final documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and safety standards.
  • Track contractor resources and material deliveries meticulously.
  • Maintain detailed records of contractor activities, including any deviations from the project scope and related costs.
  • Coordinate the handling of materials in accordance with company protocols.
  • Facilitate communication between contractors, subcontractors, and relevant personnel.
  • Conduct and document all necessary testing procedures, such as transformer and concrete testing.
  • Interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications accurately.
  • Uphold safety and environmental standards on all projects, implementing the Environment, Health, and Safety Plan (E-HASP) as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline, with a minimum of five years of relevant experience.
  • Extensive background in overhead and underground electric transmission and distribution projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
