Position Overview:

System One is in search of a Senior Electrical Engineering Supervisor for a temporary to permanent role. This position involves overseeing a team of up to five Electrical Engineering inspectors across various projects, including transmission lines, substations, and both overhead and underground distribution systems.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and document daily contractor activities, including any deviations from the planned scope of work and associated costs.
  • Oversee the coordination of materials issued, transferred, or returned to company storage, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Facilitate communication and activities among contractors, subcontractors, local agencies, and company personnel.
  • Witness, approve, and document all required testing procedures, such as transformer acceptance and concrete testing.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety and environmental standards on all construction projects.
  • Interpret and analyze technical drawings, maps, plans, and specifications.
  • Implement all Environment, Health, and Safety Plan (E-HASP) requirements effectively.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline is required, along with a minimum of five years of relevant experience. Candidates should possess:

  • Extensive experience in overhead and underground electric transmission, substations, and distribution projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • The ability to work both in an office environment and in the field as necessary.

Additional Information:

This position offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM, with weekly pay and benefits including a 401k plan. Compensation ranges from $48 to $55 per hour, based on experience, with the potential for a permanent position after three months of employment.
