Position Overview: Engineering Project Lead

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the coordination, execution, and effectiveness of engineering initiatives for various projects.
  • Manage a team of engineering professionals (mechanical, electrical, civil, structural) and synchronize efforts with other departments.
  • Uphold a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to established safety protocols and addressing any safety concerns promptly.
  • Implement the company's ethical standards and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Facilitate project coordination to ensure efficient program execution.
  • Support program teams in establishing and preparing program baselines, financial forecasts, and compliance documentation.
  • Engage with local and headquarters personnel on project management and compliance issues.
  • Drive the achievement of project management goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with Planning and Integration on budget development and manpower requirements.
  • Foster a productive work environment by setting clear expectations, monitoring performance, and providing guidance.
  • Establish internal controls to ensure the integrity of project data.
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders by understanding their needs and communicating effectively.
  • Ensure timely support for project activities by prioritizing engineering resources based on project demands.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices through continuous professional development.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

· Bachelor's degree in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, civil, structural), Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

· At least ten (10) years of relevant professional experience, including a minimum of four (4) years in a project management role within a regulated environment.

Preferred Skills:

· Proficient understanding of engineering design principles across various disciplines.

· Familiarity with project management methodologies and safety management systems.
