Position Overview:

System One is in search of a Senior Electrical Engineering Quality Inspector for a temporary to permanent role. This position will be based in a dynamic environment where you will lead a team of up to five inspectors on diverse projects, including transmission lines, substations, and both overhead and underground distribution systems.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate multiple projects at various stages, from design to active construction and final documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain safety standards across all projects.
  • Document daily contractor activities, including any deviations from the planned scope and associated costs.
  • Manage the issuance, transfer, and return of materials to company storage, ensuring accurate documentation of all transactions.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination among contractors, subcontractors, local agencies, and company personnel.
  • Witness, approve, and record all necessary testing procedures, such as transformer acceptance and concrete testing.
  • Interpret and analyze technical drawings, maps, plans, and specifications to ensure project alignment.
  • Adhere to all environmental and safety protocols outlined in the Environment, Health, and Safety Plan (E-HASP).

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline, along with a minimum of five years of relevant experience in electric utility projects, including overhead and underground transmission and distribution systems.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and candidates must be comfortable working both in an office setting and in the field as necessary.


Additional Information:

This position offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM, with weekly pay and benefits including a 401k plan. Compensation ranges from $48 to $55 per hour, depending on experience, with the potential for a permanent position after three months.
