This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful oversight of various electrical projects, including transmission systems, substations, and both overhead and underground distribution networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of up to five Electrical Engineering Inspectors across multiple projects.
  • Manage and coordinate projects at different stages, including design, active construction, and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards.
  • Document contractor manpower and material deliveries accurately.
  • Record daily contractor activities, noting any out-of-scope work and associated costs.
  • Oversee the issuance, transfer, and return of materials to company storerooms, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Facilitate communication between contractors, subcontractors, local agencies, and company personnel.
  • Witness and document all required testing procedures, such as transformer acceptance and concrete testing.
  • Interpret and analyze technical drawings, maps, plans, and specifications.
  • Adhere to company safety and environmental protocols on all projects, implementing the Environment, Health, and Safety Plan (E-HASP) as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline, with a minimum of five years of relevant experience.
  • Extensive experience in overhead and underground electric transmission, substations, and distribution projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
