POSITION SUMMARY

Canon Healthcare USA, Inc. (CHCU) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager of IT Services to lead the design, implementation, and delivery of top-tier, 24/7 IT support for mid-sized enterprise networks. This role encompasses the management of CHCU's LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi/SDWAN, servers, switches, storage solutions, and desktop/laptop computing environments.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the technical proficiency required to supervise network hardware, devise strategies to address intricate hardware and software challenges, and architect network frameworks for a developing organization. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for organizing, documenting, and troubleshooting the M365 platform, which includes Office365, Exchange online, MS Teams, SharePoint online, and the Microsoft Windows 11 desktop operating system.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Guarantee the availability, reliability, security, and prompt resolution of network infrastructure issues.
  • Conduct system operations and daily IT tasks, including:

- Managing Ubiquiti firewall, access points, and switches.

- Overseeing and enhancing overall data security measures.

- Installing enterprise-level hardware and software solutions.

- Ensuring the successful execution of data backup procedures.

- Monitoring antivirus servers and their updates.

  • Install, upgrade, document, and troubleshoot network hardware/software, including PCs, servers, internet connectivity, printers, and ancillary equipment, while managing CHCU's VOIP phone system.
  • Administer and resolve issues related to:

- M365 environment and enterprise applications, including MS Entra ID, Exchange online, and Windows Defender.

- Ubiquiti Wi-Fi networks and SharePoint online.

- Various M365 user policies, environments, directories, group memberships, and security protocols.

  • Provide timely communication and updates to CHCU leadership and staff regarding system-related matters and anticipated downtimes.
  • Procure IT equipment and oversee inventory management.
  • Deliver hardware and software training to end users.
  • Manage the IT onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Conduct monthly off-hour maintenance on all CHCU IT equipment.
  • Establish optimal network environments in collaboration with external clinical and hospital partners.
  • Uphold all Canon IT standards and collaborate with various Canon subsidiaries as needed.
  • Lead the IT team as the organization expands.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • B.S. or M.S. in Information Technology or equivalent experience.

Experience

  • At least 8-10 years of IT experience in an engineering capacity.
  • A minimum of 3 years in a managerial position.
  • Experience in supporting and managing data center operations.
  • Certification or equivalent knowledge in one or more of the following:

- Microsoft certifications such as MCSA or MCSE.

- Cisco certifications such as CCENT or CCNA.

- CompTIA certifications such as Network+ or Security+.

- M365 certification is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Comprehensive understanding of LAN/WAN architecture, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience collaborating with senior management.

Key Competencies

  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft's Windows desktop operating system, MS Azure environment, and related technologies.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities in project management and the ability to work independently in a production network setting.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to foster and maintain effective internal and external collaborative relationships.

WORK LOCATION

  • This position is based on-site.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • Willingness to undertake domestic travel (up to 10% of the time).
