POSITION OVERVIEW
Canon Healthcare USA, Inc. (CHCU) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager of Information Technology to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust IT support systems. This role is crucial for ensuring seamless enterprise-level IT operations across mid-sized networks, as well as managing CHCU's LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi/SDWAN infrastructure, servers, switches, storage solutions, and desktop/laptop environments.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate extensive technical knowledge and the ability to manage complex hardware and software challenges within an IT framework. Responsibilities include developing network infrastructure tailored for organizational growth and overseeing the M365 platform, which encompasses Office365, Exchange online, MS Teams, SharePoint online, and Microsoft Windows 11 desktop OS.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Guarantee the availability, reliability, and security of network infrastructure while ensuring prompt resolution of issues.
- Conduct daily IT operations, including:
- Administration of Ubiquiti firewalls, access points, and switches.
- Monitoring and maintaining data security protocols.
- Installation of enterprise-level hardware and software solutions.
- Ensuring successful execution of data backup procedures.
- Overseeing antivirus server management and updates.
- Install, upgrade, document, and troubleshoot network hardware and software, including PCs, servers, internet connectivity, printers, and CHCU's VOIP phone system.
- Administer and resolve issues related to:
- M365 environments and enterprise applications, including MS Entra ID, Exchange online, and Windows Defender.
- Ubiquiti Wi-Fi networks and SharePoint online functionalities.
- Management of various M365 user policies, environments, directories, group memberships, and security protocols.
- Maintain consistent communication with CHCU leadership and staff regarding system-related matters and anticipated downtimes.
- Oversee procurement of IT equipment and manage inventory effectively.
- Provide training on hardware and software for end users.
- Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes for IT personnel.
- Conduct monthly maintenance on all CHCU IT equipment outside of regular hours.
- Establish optimal network environments in collaboration with external clinical and hospital partners.
- Uphold all Canon IT standards and collaborate with various Canon subsidiaries as needed.
- Lead the IT team as the organization expands.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
Experience
- At least 8-10 years of experience in IT, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial capacity.
- Proven experience in supporting and managing data center operations.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft MCSA or MCSE, Cisco CCENT or CCNA, CompTIA Network+ or Security+, and M365 certification preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding of LAN/WAN architecture, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience collaborating with senior management.

- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft's Windows desktop operating system and MS Azure environment.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities in project management and the ability to work autonomously in a production network setting.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to foster and maintain effective collaborative relationships internally and externally.
WORK LOCATION
- This position is based on-site.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
- Willingness to undertake domestic travel as needed (up to 10% of the time).
