Position Overview:

We are seeking a DeltaV Engineer to join our team in Muskegon, Michigan. This is a long-term contract position that requires a strong background in process automation, particularly within the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and integrate DeltaV distributed control systems for various client applications.
  • Engage actively in the Project Technical Team to ensure project success.
  • Familiarize yourself with the client's DeltaV system standards and implement them across projects.
  • Utilize best practices from previous projects to enhance efficiency.
  • Create Functional Specifications (FS) detailing the requirements for the DeltaV system.
  • Translate technical FS into Detailed Designs and software configurations.
  • Develop Detailed Design Specifications (DS/DDS) for DeltaV software configuration.
  • Oversee Software Development within the DeltaV platform.
  • Participate in design and code reviews with functional teams.
  • Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and commissioning activities for DeltaV software and equipment.
  • Support commissioning and qualification efforts at client sites.
  • Assist in planning and monitoring all phases of test automation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements for commissioning and qualification activities.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree in engineering disciplines such as chemical, electrical, or computer engineering, or equivalent experience is required. Candidates should have over 6 years of relevant DeltaV experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry.
