About the Role:

As an integral member of our engineering team, you will significantly contribute to our business goals by applying engineering principles and concepts with minimal oversight. Your role will showcase engineering leadership and proficiency, as you will be tasked with conducting feasibility assessments, providing cost analyses, and establishing engineering standards. Your analytical skills and innovative thinking will be crucial in addressing complex challenges while emphasizing collaboration, strategic planning, and achieving project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Actively participate in the enhancement of engineering and quality processes by proposing improvements.
  • Apply your engineering expertise in daily responsibilities.
  • Independently tackle complex problems using your analytical skills.
  • Utilize supply chain cost and economic principles in your work.
  • Manage engineering assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Identify opportunities for product and process improvements.
  • Develop and implement engineering strategies for various projects.
  • Clearly and concisely present project outcomes.
  • Exhibit strong planning, project management, and leadership skills.
  • Engage in proposing and planning projects for budget consideration.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as necessary to achieve business objectives.
  • Bring experience from a manufacturing setting with a solid understanding of plant operations.
Qualifications:

To thrive in this position, you must be capable of successfully executing each essential duty. The following qualifications reflect the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Have over 4 years of professional engineering experience with a proven history of delivering results.
  • Project management experience may be required for specific assignments, with a preference for expertise in process engineering.
  • Familiarity with Lean principles and their application is advantageous.
  • Demonstrate strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving abilities in mechanical domains.
  • Knowledgeable in various metal processing techniques, including both manual and automated methods, and capable of specifying necessary tooling.
  • Proficient in interpreting blueprints and understanding GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing).
  • Adept at evaluating process concepts and identifying areas for continuous enhancement.
  • Effective communicator across all organizational levels, fostering positive relationships with team members.
  • Skilled in utilizing standard office automation, communication software, and engineering-related tools.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and a talent for applying engineering knowledge to address challenges.
  • Capable of prioritizing tasks, making independent decisions, and adapting to evolving project requirements.
  • Possess a solid business acumen and understand the implications of decisions on business outcomes.
