About the Role:As an essential member of our engineering team, you will significantly contribute to our business goals by applying engineering principles and concepts with minimal oversight. To thrive in this position, you must be capable of effectively executing each essential duty. The following qualifications indicate the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Have over 4 years of professional engineering experience with a proven track record of achieving results.
- Project management experience may be required for specific assignments, with a preference for expertise in process engineering.
- Familiarity with Lean principles and their application in engineering processes.
- Demonstrate strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills in mechanical engineering.
- Knowledgeable in various metal processing techniques, including both manual and automated methods, and capable of specifying necessary tooling.
- Proficient in interpreting blueprints and understanding GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing).
- Adept at evaluating process concepts and identifying areas for continuous improvement.
- Effective communicator across all organizational levels, fostering positive relationships with team members.
- Skilled in utilizing standard office automation, communication software, and engineering-related tools.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and a talent for applying engineering knowledge to address challenges.
- Capable of prioritizing tasks, making independent decisions, and adapting to evolving project requirements.
- Possess a solid understanding of business principles and the impact of decisions on organizational outcomes.
