Position Overview:
The Manufacturing Engineer will play a crucial role in enhancing and refining manufacturing processes under the mentorship of senior engineers. This position entails supporting production operations, resolving issues, and executing process enhancements to guarantee efficient and high-quality manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate in the design, development, and execution of manufacturing processes and systems.
- Provide support to the production team by addressing equipment and process challenges.
- Engage in the creation of process documentation, such as work instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Analyze production data to pinpoint areas for improvement and efficiency enhancements.
- Work alongside cross-functional teams to facilitate new product launches and process advancements.
- Assist in the setup and calibration of manufacturing machinery.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing and Six Sigma projects.
- Formulate manufacturing strategies for specific products and processes.
- Actively engage with engineering project teams to coordinate the introduction of new products.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, with 0-3 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's Degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Knowledge of automation and process improvement tools.
