Position: Guest Services Representative at The Cove Hotel/Beverly Hotel

Location: Salem, MA

Role Summary:

We are seeking a personable Guest Services Representative to deliver outstanding experiences for our guests at The Cove Hotel/Beverly Hotel. Beyond standard front desk responsibilities, you will manage operations at The Beverly Hotel, ensuring that every guest enjoys a seamless and delightful stay. As the first point of contact for our visitors, your role is crucial in making them feel appreciated and enchanted during their time with us.

Work Schedule:

  • Sunday to Thursday: 8 AM - 8 PM
  • Friday and Saturday: 8 AM - 10 PM
  • Weekend availability is essential

This is a full-time position.

Compensation: $16 - $18 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and well-organized front desk area.
  • Greet guests with warmth and professionalism.
  • Address guest inquiries and resolve complaints effectively.
  • Manage incoming calls and messages.
  • Receive and distribute packages and deliveries.
  • Check and forward emails as necessary.
  • Keep track of office supplies and inventory.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest interactions.
  • Assist with various tasks as needed.
  • Oversee operations at The Beverly Hotel.
  • Guide guests throughout their stay with helpful information.
  • Provide recommendations for local attractions and services.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role.
  • Familiarity with office equipment and procedures.
  • Understanding of office management and basic accounting principles.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to solve problems effectively.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
