Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Maumee Bay Lodge. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience during their stay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Services: Greet guests in a friendly and timely manner, check-in and check-out guests, process payments, and provide accurate receipts.
  • Phone and Email Management: Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Knowledge and Upselling: Maintain knowledge of the hotel's facilities, services, and local attractions to provide helpful information to guests and upsell amenities to in-house guests.
  • Room Reservations: Make guest room reservations and assist guests with requests or concerns.
  • Front Desk Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests.
Requirements
  • Age and Education: 18 or older, high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience in customer service is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in using computer systems and hotel management software.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to carry on a conversation with a guest.
  • Problem-Solving and Multitasking: Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks, with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Availability: Must be available to work PM shifts, including weekends and holidays.
