Position Summary

We are seeking dedicated individuals to fill the role of Educational Support Specialists. This position involves assisting classroom educators in fostering a positive learning environment and supporting student success.

Incentives:
  • Sign-on Bonus for Certified Educational Support Specialists: $1,500
  • Sign-on Bonus for Educational Aides: $1,000

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to all organizational policies and applicable regulations related to educational practices.
  • Observe and manage student behavior, ensuring a disciplined classroom atmosphere; document behavioral data as needed.
  • Assist in implementing behavior intervention plans and complete incident reports when necessary.
  • Supervise and support students during non-instructional times across various school settings (e.g., lunch, recess, field trips) to ensure safety and a positive environment.
  • Help execute classroom-wide positive behavior interventions and support strategies for specific students.
  • Participate in training and professional development sessions to enhance skills in areas such as first aid, crisis intervention, and behavior management.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including maintaining student records, tracking attendance, and preparing instructional materials.
  • Collaborate with educators and staff to integrate insights from parents and specialists to meet student needs effectively.
  • Continuously monitor student well-being and promote positive interactions among peers.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned by the supervising teacher or principal.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience working with students facing emotional and behavioral challenges, ages 6-21.
