We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Specialist - Education to join our team at Living Resources. As a Support Specialist - Education, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities or other life-challenging conditions to live with dignity, independence, and happiness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist students in independent living skills, including meal preparation, household chores, and self-advocacy.
  • Provide small group instruction on domestic components of independent living.
  • Counsel students on various aspects of independent living.
  • Support students in campus and community integration/participation.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a related field and experience working with people with disabilities (preferred).
  • Valid NYS driver's license.
