Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Teller/Account Specialist to join our team at Pinnacle Bank / Bank of Colorado. As a key member of our banking team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service: Provide quality service to customers, develop long-term relationships, and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  2. Transaction Processing: Receive and process deposits, cash checks, and perform various customer service-related duties.
  3. Account Maintenance: Prepare holds on deposits, complete forms, and perform operational duties as required.
  4. Sales and Account Opening: Open and close individual and commercial deposit accounts, obtain necessary BSA information, and prepare paperwork for customers.
  5. Customer Service Duties: Answer phone calls, assist walk-in customers, process check orders, close accounts, and perform other customer service-related tasks.
  6. Account Management: Maintain customer accounts, including deposit accounts, CDs, Health Savings Accounts, IRAs, and other retail banking products.
  7. Teamwork and Communication: Work collaboratively with colleagues, communicate effectively with customers, and provide leadership and guidance to subordinate team members.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating computer terminals, printers, and other banking equipment.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to resolve customer issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accurate records and perform tasks with a high level of accuracy.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications

We prefer candidates with:

  • Minimum 24 months of prior bank teller experience or other related cash handling experience.
  • Knowledge of personal and business banking products and a willingness to stay updated on changes.
  • Basic knowledge of banking regulations and bank policies and procedures.
