Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Merchandising Specialist to join our team at LinPepCo. As a Merchandising Specialist, you will be responsible for merchandising products within all format accounts, including stocking shelves, rotating shelved products, setting up displays, and organizing and rotating products in storage rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Merchandise Store Shelving and Displays: Ensure that store shelves and displays are fully stocked and visually appealing, with products facing forward and at eye level.
  • Rotate Products: Regularly rotate products in the backroom and on the shelf to ensure that older products are sold before they expire.
  • Transport Products: Transport products from the backroom to the sales floor, using a two-wheel dolly and pallet jack as needed.
  • Maintain Backroom and Storage Areas: Keep the backroom and storage areas clean and organized, with products stored in a logical and accessible manner.
  • Build Customer Relationships: Build strong relationships with customers at the store level, providing excellent customer service and responding to customer inquiries.
  • Communicate with Customers: Communicate with customers upon arrival and departure from the store, ensuring that they are aware of any promotions or sales.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Sufficient formal or informal education to ensure the ability to read and write at a level required for successful job performance, as well as previous experience in a merchandising or inventory management role.
  • Transportation: Reliable transportation to and from accounts, as well as a valid driver's license and required level of insurance coverage.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods of time, and walk or stand for up to 10 hours per day.
  • Skills and Abilities: Basic knowledge of computers and tablets, effective oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Working Environment

Work generally takes place in a store setting, with occasional travel to other locations as needed. Individuals must be able to operate a tablet or PC, as well as a two-wheel dolly and pallet jack.
