Position: Account Director

Overview:

The Account Director plays a pivotal role in overseeing the performance of significant strategic accounts. This position is essential for achieving and surpassing operational goals, driving cost efficiencies, and fostering a positive work environment that enhances employee engagement and productivity. Collaborating closely with the Vice President, the Account Director will contribute to the formulation and execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring effective implementation of programs such as Reliability Maintenance and Facility Maintenance Supplier Consolidation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Business Planning: Ensure alignment with client objectives and performance metrics.
    • Utilize a collaborative approach to assess each Service Level Agreement (SLA) and Key Performance Indicator (KPI), documenting and analyzing performance trends.
    • Lead the development of a comprehensive three-year operational strategy for each location, including capital improvement recommendations.
  • Performance Management: Identify and implement best practices and KPIs for effective performance evaluation.
    • Determine essential services and outline contingency plans to mitigate risks associated with service delivery.
  • Service Level Oversight: Drive service excellence across the portfolio by establishing performance metrics aligned with business strategies.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Conduct monthly performance reviews to ensure strategic alignment and optimal service delivery.
  • Financial Management: Oversee accounts receivable and payable processes to maintain financial health.
  • Client Engagement: Facilitate regular account review meetings to discuss performance outcomes and operational strategies.
  • Operational Coordination: Ensure consistent service delivery and effective communication with client representatives.
  • Resource Management: Develop and implement plans to meet client objectives while ensuring high standards of service quality.
  • Strategic Direction: Contribute to the planning and management of client contracts, assessing future needs for growth and development.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Enhance customer relations through effective service delivery and innovative solutions.
  • Team Leadership: Foster a high-performance culture by mentoring and guiding team members towards achieving their goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA preferred.
  • Seven to ten years of senior-level experience in managing multiple facility operations.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present information effectively.
  • Experience in operations and maintenance within commercial and industrial environments is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
