Sales Executive

As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth for Marriott Select Brand hotels in the Arlington, VA and Washington, DC area. This is a market-based position that requires proactive sales initiatives to achieve hotel topline goals.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and pursue new business opportunities from small business accounts, sourcing new accounts, and re-soliciting past business leads.
- Develop and execute property internal mining efforts to drive revenue growth.
- Partner with leadership to ensure competitive sales strategies are in place and aligned with market trends.
- Report directly to the Property Sales Leader and work closely with hotel General Managers to focus on sales-driven tasks.
- High school diploma or GED; 2 years experience in sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional area.
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; no work experience required.
- 4-year college degree; previous experience in proactive lead generation in hospitality and sales discipline.
- Knowledge of property-specific business segments (e.g. group, catering, transient) and the hospitality industry.
Marriott International offers a competitive salary range of $60,473 to $104,819 annually, plus a quarterly bonus.
