Responsibilities:


This role is essential in facilitating reimbursement processes by accurately collecting and verifying patient demographic and insurance details. Responsibilities include obtaining necessary patient signatures, maintaining and updating registration systems, and creating medical records for effective patient care.

Additionally, this position ensures a welcoming atmosphere for all patients, manages co-payments and pre-payments, and supports timely patient arrivals to clinical areas.


Qualifications:

We require:
A high school diploma along with two years of experience in a healthcare environment, or equivalent education.

Familiarity with medical terminology and third-party payer regulations is essential.

Exceptional customer service and patient care skills are a must, along with strong organizational, communication, and computer proficiency.

Candidates should demonstrate effective problem-solving and prioritization abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently throughout the day. Experience with telephone management and healthcare computer systems is preferred.

Experience with banking transaction systems is also advantageous.
