About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic business leader to lead our Stanley Access Technologies business in the Americas. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for directing and managing the business with full P&L responsibility, advancing the strategic vision, driving execution, and leading an engaged and talented organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support sales, installation, and service teams across the United States and Canada with a customer-driven value proposition for Stanley automatic sliding doors and swing door operators.
  • Lead the business strategy and full life cycle product management with full accountability for P&L, ROIC, and cash flow.
  • Drive ongoing continuous improvement in both manufacturing and branch operational effectiveness, delivery, and efficiency.
  • Develop business roadmaps and strategies, aligning to the Long-Range Plan (LRP).
  • Build and maintain key channel partner, supplier, and industry relationships.
  • Maintain excellent industry/territory knowledge of codes and standards to adapt to changes in the marketplace.
  • Provide continuous communication and partnership to matrix teams on business initiatives, strategy, and overall direction.
  • Inspire teams through your leadership presence and influencing.
  • Build a culture of collaboration and be a change champion in the business environment.
  • Effectively motivate teams by providing clear goals that stretch capabilities to achieve pre-determined outcomes.
  • Provide coaching and development to teams, fostering Allegion's values, leadership behaviors, and strengths-based culture.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience, including leading manufacturing, field service, and installation businesses, providing leadership, direction, and development to staff at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker, capable of thinking broadly and strategically without losing sight of details.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Business post-secondary educational degree, MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with executive leaders.
  • Experience working with branch operations and support within manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in a matrixed environment preferred.
  • Strong financial and business acumen.
  • P&L management – drive top-line and bottom-line growth.
  • Proven decision quality and timeliness in a customer experience-focused environment.
