Job Summary

This is a fast-paced position with multiple responsibilities that require strong organizational and communication skills. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask, work in a team environment, and maintain a high level of accuracy in a dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Answer multiple phone lines to schedule patient appointments, greet patients upon entry to the clinic, and manage the scheduling of staff.
  • Administrative Support: Process incoming and outgoing mail, email, and faxes, and maintain optimal patient flow.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Correspond with patients regarding insurance information and co-pays, and assist directors and management with miscellaneous tasks and projects.
  • Technical Skills: Be computer literate in Microsoft Office suite, Google mail, and EMR system experience, and type a minimum of 40WPM.
  • Compliance and Confidentiality: Maintain HIPAA compliance at all times and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduation from high school or GED equivalent with coursework in general office practices.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a front office or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, ability to multitask, and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and EMR systems.
